1 — How do I fill a prescription at Helios Rx?

The fastest way is for providers to send prescriptions electronically straight to our pharmacy through their EHR/e-prescribe system or submit them through our Provider Portal. Providers can also fax or call a prescription in, and if you have a hard copy, you're welcome to drop it off at the pharmacy.

2 — How can I pick up or receive my prescription?

Prescriptions can be picked up at our convenient Tempe location at 1711 W. University Dr., Suite 159, Tempe, AZ. 85281, or we can ship directly to you. Delivery Options are available for an additional fee

3 — How do I transfer my prescription to Helios Rx?

Just let us know — you don't need to contact your other pharmacy yourself. Give us a call with your name, date of birth, the medication, and the name of your current pharmacy, and our team will handle the transfer for you. In some cases, we may need a new prescription from your provider instead, and if so, we'll let you know and can reach out to them directly.

4 — What will my medication cost?

Pricing for compounded medications varies between different products, dosage forms, and the number of ingredients used. Contact the pharmacy for specific pricing information.

5 — Do you accept insurance?

Most prescription insurance managers do not cover compounded medications. We are happy to provide all prescription details if you'd like to pursue direct reimbursement from your insurance.

6 — How do I refill my medications?

Refill by calling our staff, using the automated phone refill system, or clicking the Refill Rx button on our website.

7 — What is a compounding pharmacy?

Compounding pharmacies are allowed by the FDA to create patient-specific medications that don't exist commercially. Medications are tailored to the unique medical needs of each patient — including adjusting dosage forms, strengths, and removing allergens.
